Norman Wallis, Ph.D. 
President and Founder of PAI, received his professional education and clinical training at the City University, London, and practiced for several years before attending graduate school at Indiana University, where he obtained an M.A. in physiology and a Ph.D. in visual physiology. He has served in a number of academic and clinical positions, and was president of a health professional college for seven years.

Dr. Wallis was appointed Executive Director of a national healthcare credentialing board in 1980, served as a member of the Special Medical Advisory Group (SMAG) to the Chief Medical Director of the Department of Veterans Affairs, and was a member of the Board of Directors of the National Board of Medical Examiners (NBME) for eight years. Since founding PAI in 1984, he has helped assure the success of many PAI client societies. He is a member of the American Public Health Association and the American Society of Association Executives. |

Mark H. Epstein, Sc.D.
Senior Account Executive, holds a doctorate in health policy and planning from the Johns Hopkins University School of Hygiene and Public Health, and a Master of Science in Public Health degree from the University of Missouri-Columbia in Health Services Management. Dr. Epstein has more than 26 years of senior management experience with non-profit organizations including 12 years as the CEO of national and international health membership associations. He is a member of the American Society of Association Executives and the Greater Washington Society of Association Executives. |

Thomas J. O’Hora, M.B.A., CPA
Controller, earned his Master's degree at the University of Scranton, and also has been awarded the CPA designation. He is the author of "Selecting Computer Software" one of the books of the series What a Difference Understanding Makes: A Guide to Nonprofit Management published by Accountants for the Public Interest to help managers select appropriate accounting software. Mr. O'Hora has been the controller of all PAI clients since 1991. He also has special expertise in setting up computer networks for, and supervising, onsite conference registration. |
